Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blogging meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. You can find out more about it here. This week’s theme is Top Ten Most Anticipated Releases For the Rest of 2015. This year seems like it’s going to be peppered with great books being released, so I could most likely keep going on for a while. But I’ll limit it to ten. I promise.
Winter by Marissa Meyer: November 10th
How could I not mention this? This will be the final book in a truly fantastic series, and I am keeping my fingers crossed I get to go to the launch party.
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell: October 6th
Rainbow Rowell is actually writing Cath’s fanfiction, Carry On. How amazingly awesome is that? I wish all authors did this, because that would be epic.
Library of Souls by Ranson Riggs: September 22nd
I believe this is the final book in the Miss Peregrine’s series, but I’m not positive. However, this cover is my favorite of the three, and after the cliffhanger of Hollow City, I need to know what happens next.
The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater: February 23rd
I know, I know, this one doesn’t come out ’til 2016, but I’m too excited for it not to list it. I know it’s going to be fantastic.
The Rose Society by Marie Lu: October 13th
I didn’t enjoy The Young Elites as much as I liked her Legend series, but that’s not going to stop me from reading this book.
The Iron Warrior by Julie Kagawa: October 27th
AT LAST. It’s been torture waiting this long. Torture, I tell you. But now I have a release date and a cover and I know that Ethan’s not dead, so that’s something, at least. And this is the great finale of the series, so this book might unleash buckets upon buckets of tears.
The Copper Gauntlet by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare: September 1st
Yeah, it’s a MG novel, and yeah, the first one wasn’t as fantasticly wonderful as I expected it to be, but I have high hopes for the series so I’m going to give this a try. Plus, no one does evil and weird as well as these two authors, so I expect this to turn dark fast.
Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan: October 6th
Now that Magnus has been confirmed to be Annabeth’s cousin, I want to read this even more. Basically, if you don’t want to read this, we can’t be friends anymore.
Slasher Girls and Monster Boys by lots of people: August 18th
It’s a YA horror anthology, and once I heard that A.G. Howard was writing one of the stories, I had to get my hands on it. After reading about her darkly twisted wonderland, I can’t help but wonder how amazing she’d be at straight-on horror.
Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge: ?
For whatever reason I can’t find the release date for this, but it sounds super interesting. It’s a retelling of Red Riding Hood.
So, waterpark today, and we’re going with a group of my little brother’s friends, which will be…interesting. Luckily I’m on good terms with three of them, so they *might* allow me to tag after them to join one of their tubes. Maybe possibly.
Happy Tuesday,
Oh my god, I was not aware that Rainbow Rowell was writing Carry On, I AM SO EXCITED! That would have made my list as well, if I knew about it! There are too many good books coming out this fall.

I’m seeing Carry On and Crimson Bound on a lot of lists today. The cover of the new Miss Peregrine book is the creepiest to me, which doesn’t mean I don’t like it, it just makes the book that much more intriguing. Hope you can stop by my list. http://eviloverlordthoughts.com/anticipation/

Well, I think a lot of people are curious to see how Rainbow Rowell handles fantasy when she’s only written contemporary before

Like I said, The Young Elites wasn’t as good as Legend, but I won’t give up on the series yet.

Crimson Bound is out in North America, it came out a month or so ago, so you should be able to get your hands on a copy.
