This book was decent. Not great, but decent.
The Cage by Megan Shepherd
I wasn’t all that impressed with The Madman’s Daughter, but this sounded interesting, so I had hope. I liked The Madman’s Daughter better.
Exposure | Terminal by Kathy Reichs
I haven’t started these yet, but they’re books 4 and 5 in the Virals series, and I think Terminal is the final book (Not certain, though).
Shadow and Bone | Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo
I keep hearing good things about this series, and books 1 and 2 were at the library, so we’ll see. I haven’t actually started them yet, but once I finish Exposure I’ll get on them.
Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley
This book was amazing. Unique and compelling and with a snarky main character and a great best friend and just read it, okay?
The Heir by Kiera Cass
Yep, I finally got it. And I didn’t like it as much as the Selection. It’s mostly Eadlyn’s fault.
Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld
I didn’t like this book, either. It was such a cool idea, but it just fell flat. I keep going to write a review, then I just stop because I just…can’t. I think it’s hardest to write the reviews for books you were really excited about but ended up falling flat.
Half Lives by Sara Grant
This is one of those books where I’m at the library, this is on the “what to read this week” shelf, and I decided to spring for it, horrible cover and all. We’ll see how it goes. I don’t have very high hopes for it.
Now, I’ve gotten more than ten books in the last week. There was a sale at a bookstore, I’ve gone to the library twice, and I’ve got a new book on my Kindle, but these are the books that came into my head first, so, we’ll see.
